We are registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the US (EIN 86-1180701). Therefore donations from US citizens & companies are tax-deductible.
The below are some ways you can support the OpenSecurityTraining organization and its instructors both now and in the future.
If your company matches charitable donations, through platforms like Benevity, that is the best way to maximize your donation impact.
If your company uses a particular portal and OST2 doesn't show up, please let us know at donate@ost2.fyi so we can register and make it easier to donate.
We are running a dedicated campaign to fund the inclusion of a gamification plugin for Open edX, to make learning on OST2 more fun!Â
If you don't have the option to get corporate matching, we'd still really appreciate a direct donation. These help show us that you value what we do.
Our primary donation platform is handled via YouTube here (upper right side of page).
(Alternate link which allows to donate via cryptocurrency, Paypal, bank transfer, credit cards, etc. Some of those methods have pass-through fees, so this is for those without a Google account, or those in countries where YouTube donations don't work).
Most bug bounty programs have an option where you can donate your bounty to charity. And many of them will increase the donation if it's given to a charity. So by asking them to direct your bounty contribution to OST2 you'd be supporting us while maximizing the amount the vulnerable company needs to pay.
Some of our instructors teach in-person versions of their classes as well. If a trainer finds a paid trainee through OST2, then the trainer will donate 10% of the class price to OST2. You can inquire about trainings this way via referal@ost2.fyi.
